The wait is over! TRESOR & The Kiffness, two of South Africa’s top local acts, have teamed up for a brand new collaboration called “Evergreen”. Released as an Xperia Mashlab song earlier this year to overwhelmingly positive feedback, the song is already charting on national CHR 5FM as well as campus stations in South Africa. “Evergreen” had a three day video exclusive on TRACE this week and is now finally released online and across a multitude of Pan-African TV channels. The video for the tropical house gem was shot in Cape Town last month and while simple in concept, it proves again that the quality of the track truly does speak for itself!

Since his arrival to South Africa 7 years ago, TRESOR (French for “treasure” and pronounced “Trezor”) has performed with the likes of Eddie Grant, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Freshlyground, Prime Circle, Goldfish and Lira, to name a few. His critically acclaimed debut album ‘VII’ was released last year, featuring the hit singles “Mount Everest”, “Never Let Me Go” and “Zambezi” featuring Beatenberg. TRESOR signed a worldwide record deal with Ultra Records in 2015. He is also currently an active ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Children Hospital Fund.

The Kiffness is Dave Scott & Clemm Carr, two young men that are bringing a new meaning to the word ‘Kiff’. The Kiffness aim to have fans headbanging, doing the running man and even attempting some African pantsula with their mixture of vibey and upbeat “choons”. The secret behind their awesomeness is that they aren’t just musicians; they are performers, following in the footsteps of legends like Goldfish & Goodluck.
